What We Are Looking For

Scanlan RV Marine is looking for an experienced mechanic to join our team at Canyon Lake in Apache Junction. While Canyon Lake is temporarily closed for its scheduled drawdown, our workload remains steady. When the lake reopens, you'll enjoy working at a busy marina and being part of an active boating community.

Marine experience is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with automotive, diesel, RV, powersports, or heavy equipment repair experience who are eager to learn the marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines, including inboard/outboard motors and propulsion systems

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, fuel, steering, cooling, plumbing, and other onboard systems

• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Positive attitude and a solid work ethic

• Must provide own tools

• Able to work in confined spaces, outdoors, and on or around the water

• Valid driver's license

• Must pass a background check

Preferred:

• Marine repair experience

• Marine certifications or manufacturer training (ABYC, Yamaha, Mercury, Honda Marine, etc.)

• Arizona Boater Education Card, or willingness to obtain one

Compensation & Benefits

• $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
